Ronnie Dean Davidson, 63, of Walnut Ridge, died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 26, 1950 in Walnut Ridge to Paul Winfield and Juanita Bernice Riggs Davidson. He was a member of the Church of Christ, worked as an auto mechanic, and was an Army veteran having served in Vietnam.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Glenda Wilson Davidson; an infant son; brothers, Billy Joe Davidson, Cloyce Davidson, Jackie Davidson; and sister, Lois Davidson.
Survivors include his sons, Stacy Davidson and Jamie Davidson, both of Alicia; step-son, Gary Swindle of Jonesboro; step-daughter, Kelly Johnson of Ravenden; brothers, Lonnie Davidson, Terry Davidson, Jerry Davidson, all of Doniphan, MO, Jr. Davidson of Hoxie, Donnie Davidson of Memphis, TN, Harold Davidson of Jonesboro; sisters, Geraldine Arnold of Walnut Ridge and Willene Luster of Portia; eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2013, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Cox-Fears Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation on Monday under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home with Rob Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia.
Pallbearers are Doug Arnold, Bobby Luster, Tim Hodges, Jason Luster, Roy Paul Davidson, and Ben Davidson. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Davidson, Dustin Davidson, and Brian Davidson.
