Alice J. Foley, 99, of Powhatan passed from this life on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.  She was born September 26, 1921 in Calamine, Arkansas to Clarence Wallace and Mable Moore Bruce.  She married Jack Foley on March 12, 1947.  Alice was a bookkeeper for Riceland foods and a homemaker during her life.  She was a member of Black Rock Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, going to the farm to see cattle, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were:  her parents; her husband, Jack Foley; brothers, Robert, Wallace, Calvin, Harold, and Ernest Bruce; sisters, Martha Lackey and Bertha Gill.

She is survived by one son, David Foley (Mary Ann) of Powhatan; daughter, Carolyn Loyd of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jeff Loyd, Steve Loyd, Jason Foley, and LeAnne Teufel; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Garrett Loyd, and Grey and Hyatt Teufel.

Gravesides services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Powhatan Cemetery.  Beth Perdue will officiate.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
