Alice Faye Owens, 73, of Pocahontas passed from this life on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.  She was born October 15, 1950, in Alicia to the late Troy and Faye (Alls) Owens. She was a homemaker of was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her siblings, Tony Owens, Donnie Owens, Betty Ann Lee, and Jenny Sue Mercer.

She is survived by her siblings, Bobbi Marchinkewich of Hudsonville, Michigan, J.W. Owens (Connie) of Hoxie, Troy Wayne Owens (Johnnie) of Swifton, Bradley Owens (Barbara) of Bono, Terry Owens (Marie) of Alicia, Scott Owens of Hoxie; special aunt, Opha Arnold of Hoxie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral services immediately following at 12 p.m. Troy Owens Jr. will officiate.  Interment will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
