Allene Botz, 88, of Ravenden passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Pocahontas. She was born on December 11, 1929 to Jacob and Ethel Curry Morris at Ravenden. She married Eugene Vernon Botz on October 28, 1950 at Ravenden.  Allene was a homemaker and worked at Pro Group in Pocahontas for several years. She had been a member of the church of Christ since 1944.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Eugene Vernon Botz, SR: her parents; three brothers, George, Carlos and Norman Morris and a sister, Eunice Young; daughter-in-law, Wyona Botz and granddaughters, Jennifer and Laura Botz.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Botz Kirk (Brian) and a son, Vernon Botz, all of Ravenden; grandchildren, Colin Kirk (Sasha) and Allene Kirk Hunt (Brett); great-grandchildren, Rowen and Cadence Kirk and several nieces and nephews.
