Amanda Smith, 37, of Portia passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born December 21, 1980 to Luther and Sharon Dillinger Smith in Pocahontas. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center and was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church in Black Rock.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Mae Imogene and Clarence Dillinger; paternal grandparents, Jewell Leroy and Hazel Lorene Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Luther and Sharon Dillinger Smith of Ravenden; son, Gregory Scott Smith of the home; daughter, Caitlyn Savannah Henson of the home; brothers, Luke (Brittney) Smith of Ravenden; sisters, Kelly (Chad) Goodwin of Imboden; nieces, Whitney and Bethany Goodwin, and Tinsley Smith.
