Portia-  Angela Shontaine Latham, 50, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.  She was born on March 20, 1968 to Alex and Lynda Bradley Latham in Jonesboro.  She attended the Portia Missionary Baptist Church.   Angela attended the Lawrence County Cooperative School for many years and was currently a resident of JHDC.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Luther and Inez Bradley; paternal grandparents, Herman and Gladys Latham and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her parents, Alex and Lynda Latham of Portia and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rodney Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Clover Bend Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Blankenship, Clay Blankenship, Harold Watson, Mark Latham, Eddie Jones and Charles Risenhover.   Honorary pallbearers are James Sullivan, Levi Harris, Paul Miles and Mark Travis.
