Anita Louise Miles, 70, of Ravenden died April 1, 2014 at her residence.  She was born February 6, 1944 in Manila to Eugene and Lucille Hardy Vassar.  She was a riverboat cook and of Baptist belief.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Erbon Miles, of the home; children, Randall Scott (Jane) Miles of Ravenden, Marvin Eugene Miles of Ozark Acres, Carroll (Rodney) Kendall of Beech Grove, and Dawayne (Darla) Miles of Ravenden; brothers, Bobby Vassar and Pete Vassar of MI, and Jerry Vassar, Phillip Vassar, and Terry Vassar of Manila; sisters, Bonnie Estes of Wirth, Linda Coleman and Debbie Vassar of Manila ; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Miles, Allie Kendall, Britni and Sydney Miles; great-grandchild, Madison Miles.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 4 ^th , at 11:00 am in the Cox-Fears Chapel under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Robert Vassar officiating.
