Walnut Ridge-Annie Geneva Lasiter, 86, of Walnut Ridge passed away August 11, 2016 at her home. She was born on June 30, 1930 to Morgan and Grethel Turbeyville Thompson in Lepanto. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ belief. She married Hal Lasiter Sr. on December 27, 1944 in Walnut Ridge.

She is preceeded in death by her parents; husband Hal Lasiter Sr.; infant twin sons; sisters, Mordelle, Morzelle, and Margaret; and great grandchild, Ruger Lasiter.

Survivors include her sons, Hal Lasiter and Everett Lasiter of Oklahoma, Jeff Lasiter of Walnut Ridge, and John Lasiter of Batesville; grandchildren, Jonathan, Craig, Cameron, Keri, Mychal, David, Connie, Doris, Jean, Mic, Somer, Autumn, Carolinas, Xayne, Chelsea, Kendra, Chase, Cody, and Skyla; and twenty nine great grandchildren.

Visistation will be Friday, August 12, 2016 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10 a.m at Cox Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Sons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
