Walnut Ridge- Arlen Luther Williams, 94, passed from this life on Friday, December 11, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on July 22, 1926 to the Late Arthur and Pearl Decker Williams.   He married Evelyn McGuffy on February 22, 1947 in Hoxie.  He was employed at Crane and Skill during his life.  Arlen was a member and treasurer at Oak Grove church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sons, Glendon Williams and Edward Williams; brothers, Earl Williams and Robert Williams; sisters, Ellie Wright; grandsons, Jason Williams and Brett Williams; son-in- law, Troy Cooper; and daughter-in-law, Susan Williams.

He is survived by daughters, Oleta Cooper of Bono and Sherry Thelemier (Chuck) of Pocahontas; sisters, Elsie Clark of Black Rock and Hazel Brannon (Johnny) of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Teri Williams of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Kevin Cooper, Charles Thielemier, Dustin Thielemier, Kalinda Moore, and Trevor Williams; and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge.  Funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m. with Bill Willard officiating.  Interment will follow in Markham Cemetery in Egypt under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Thielemier, Dustin Thielemier, Trevor Williams, Ronald Cooper, Tony Burns, and Garland Burgess.
