Arthur Kenneth Oliver, 85, of Warrenton, Missouri passed from this life on Tuesday, August 10, 2022, at his residence.  He was born October 17, 1936, in Portia to the late Arthur Chester and Noma D. Foley Oliver. He grew up in Lawrence County and was a graduate of Lynn high school.  He was united in marriage to Patsy Richey on January 26, 1957.  He was of the missionary Baptist belief.  Arthur enjoyed hunting, fishing, the St. Louis Cardinals, and sitting on the back porch watching the turkey and deer, and bowling.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy; siblings, Miles Oliver, Jim Oliver, Bill Oliver, Shirley Oliver Dearman, and Barbara Oliver Brannon.

He is survived by his children, Kennie Ann Colbeck and Patti Martin (Walter) both of Missouri, and Richey Allen Oliver (Dee) of Illinois; siblings, Inez Williams (Richard) of Utah, Glenn Oliver (Marie) and Mary Nunnally both of Lynn, Jerry Wayne Oliver (Shelia) of Strawberry, and Patsy Barker (Carl) of Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 12 until 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn.  The funeral will follow immediately at 2 p.m. with Roger Randolph officiating.  Interment will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Family is requesting social distancing and masks required for anyone in attendance.
