Arthur Riley Robins, 89, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Monday, September 9, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born December 7, 1934, in Walnut Ridge to the late Samuel J. and Lilly (Threet) Robins. He was employed in maintenance at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 37 years. Arthur was a member of the First Assembly of God in Walnut Ridge. He enjoyed watching gospel television and playing guitar.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Shirley (Blazer) Robins; brother, Isaac Robins (Mary); and several other brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his sons, Dennis Robins (Patty) of Cabot and Keith Robins of Walnut Ridge; brothers, Richard Robins (Helen) of Walnut Ridge, Herbert Robins (Carol) and Walter Robins both of Black Rock; grandchildren, Vaden Robins and Matthew Robins; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12 until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge. Jerry Cochran will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Blazer, Walter Robins, Herbert Robins, and Richard Robins.
