Bernice Williams, 84, of Walnut Ridge passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born November 21, 1933 to Jerry and Elzora McCall Price in Walnut Ridge. She was employed at Skil and was a charter member at United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.

Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Loretta Batterton; son in law, Bob Batterton; brothers, Henry, Nathan, Jesse and Leroy Price; and sister, Willene Kifer.

Surviviors include her sons, Allen Williams (Lori Tillman) of Walnut Ridge, Jeremy Batterton (Angie) of Marion, Iowa; daughters, Dian Baker (Truel) of Black Rock, Misty Cook (Shane) of Walnut Ridge; sisters, Evelyn Murphy and Helen Murphy of Walnut Ridge, Stella Riggs of Pocahontas, Ruby Murphy of East Alton, Illinois; grandchildren, Shawn and Jeff Woodson, Alyson Meadors, Jeremy Cunningham; great grandchildren, Brett Tyler Nosser, Kaley, Kerry, River and Si Woodson, Oaks, Odom and Walter Meadors, Sunnie and Jersie Cunningham, Grady and Gunner Cook, Avery, Abbie and Aiden Batterton; great-great grandchild Alexander Nosser.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home with Glen Smith officiating. Burial will be at Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Shane Cook, Gunner Cook, Shawn Woodson, Jeremy Cunningham, Cory Meadors and Terrell Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Health South Rehab and Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
