Betty Lou Hawk, 83, of Warm Springs, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on August 11, 1933 in Washington, Indiana to Cecil and Doris Irene Copeland Bogard.  She was married 65 years to Melvin Elwood Hawk.  Betty was an inspector for Deluxe Check Printers and a demo for local grocery stores.  She was a member of Indianapolis Baptist Temple in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Preceding her in death was her father, Cecil Bogard.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Hawk; mother, Doris Copeland Bogard; one son; one daughter; two brothers;  two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Lauck and Veldof Funeral Home, 1458 South Meridian Street in Indianapolis.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1889 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood, Indiana.  All local arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
