Betty Jane Riley Davis, 90, of Portia died Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was born September 6, 1928 to William Wallace and Lela Myrtle Wendel Riley. Betty was former cook at Lawrence Hall Center and was of the Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Davis; her parents; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by three sons, Tim Davis and Joe Davis, both of Portia and Wendel Davis (Ann) of Searcy; two daughters, Joan Davis and Nancy Davis, both of Portia; four grandchildren, LaTisha Pickens (Josh), Matthew Davis (Carrie), Logan Young (Dustin) and Amber Wilson; one great-grandson, Gavin Joe Wilson; and one sister, Wilma Ferrell of St. Louis.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Danny Whitmire officiating.  Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Dalton Cagle, Travis Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Eugene Jackson, Frankie Jackson and Geno Jackson.
