Walnut Ridge-Billy Joe Doyle, 72, of Walnut Ridge passed away peacefully at his home on December 18.  He was born July 28, 1944 in the Oak Hill Community to Wash and Marze (Deen) Doyle.  He was a member of Sedgwick Baptist Church.  He graduated in 1962 from Bono High School and later served with the AR Army National Guard from 1965-1971.  He married Dletta Chastain on August 12, 1966. He retired from Tenneco Automotive (Monroe) in 2006 after 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Lonnie, Sterling, and Meb.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Dletta Chastain Doyle of the home, two daughters, Lorrie (Cliff) Rose of Westside and Marsha (Kenny) Jones of Hoxie; four precious and amazing grandchildren; Sydney and Evan Rose and Brock and Jake Jones; four brothers, Charles (Ruby) Doyle, J.W. (Karon) Doyle, Jim Doyle, Joey (Yvonne) Doyle; seven sisters, Launia "Boonie" McElrath, Regina (Johnny) Eidson, Dianne Minton, Sarah (Marty) Colburn, Betty (Jon) Wagner, Alean (Kevin) Wright, and Polly (Dale) Harlan.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10 am at Manning No 1 Cemetery with Randy Caldwell and Thomas Lamb officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Childrens Research hospital in Memphis or the donor's charity of choice.
