Billy Gene Lyons, 39, of Bono passed from this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.  He was born January 8, 1985, in Jonesboro to Eddie and Anna (Hampton) Lyons.  He was united in marriage to Jenny Ferguson on March 16, 2019, in Batesville.  He was employed at Teletech during his life and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Bono.  Billy was an avid gamer and enjoyed photography.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Gurtie Lyons.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny of the home; children, Lina, Grace and Nolan all of the home; parents, Eddie and Anna Lyons of Bono; maternal grandmother, Libby Knoche; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Funeral services will be Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. at The Pentecostal Church of Bono with Danny Murphy, Wes Williams, and Anthony Ferrell officiating.  Interment will follow in Arnold Cemetery in Swifton under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Curt Murphy, Clint Murphy, Blake Wilson, Ryan Cole, Zachary Golden, Eric See, and Odell Davis.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Wilson, Benny Lisk, Stevie King, Samuel Ferguson, and James Meeker.
