Billy Mack Wallis, 79, of Walnut Ridge passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his home. He was born January 23, 1938 to Alfred Ivan and Cholie McElyea Wallis in Walnut Ridge. He married Kathleen Marshall on November 8, 1957 in Walnut Ridge. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willard, Roy, and Floyd (Red) Wallis; sisters, Willene Wallis, Darlene Mitchell and Lela Holder.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen of the home; daughter, Tina Horn of Walnut Ridge; brothers, Troy Wallis (Joan) of Hoxie, Ivan Wallis of Walnut Ridge, Lloyd Wallis (Alice) of Perryville; sister, Rhoda Smith (Larry) of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Dustin Ashford, Ross Ashford, and Monica Wells (Jeff); great grandchildren, Gage and Gunner Theilemier, Ann-D Ashford and Levi Ashford.

Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Harold Russell officiating. Burial will be at Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Pallbearers are Jim Hart, James Ivan Wallis, Chuck Haigwood, Anthony Cook, Gary Cansler, Blaine Smith.
