Bobby Routon, 93, of Manila passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge. He was born August 29, 1925 to Pat and Pearl Johnson Routon in Pottsville. He married Kathleen Coffman on May 10, 1946 in Michigan City, Indiana. He was engaged in farming and served as a deacon at Browns Chapel Baptist Church in Manila. Bobby served in the United States Navy during WWII.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Kathleen Routon; his parents; three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Routon (Portia) of Tyronza; a daughter, Brenda Flippo (Dennis) of Hoxie; a sister, Donnie Hall of Lepanto; six grandchildren, Charles Flippo (Dana), Brad Flippo (Angela), Kristy Graham (Danny), Kathy Brothers (Barron), Rachel Routon and Rebekah Routon; and ten great grand-children, Casey Flippo, Hunter Flippo, Chase Flippo, Mackenzie Flippo, Drew Flippo, Maddie Flippo, Ty Flippo, Karysn Graham, Rylee Graham and Brody Brothers.
