Walnut Ridge-Bobby Wayne Walker, 79, of Walnut Ridge passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born to James and Lawsie Pipkin Walker in Trumann on June 26, 1937.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one infant son and two infant daughters.

He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Walker; sons, Greg Walker of Walnut Ridge and Bobby Walker (Julie) of Bay City, Texas; daughter, Donna Roddy (Dewey) of Beebe; brothers, James Douglas Walker of LaPorte, Indiana, Henry Harold Walker(Connie) of Arlington, Texas; sisters, Loretta Ann Wilson of Flushing, Michigan; grandchildren, Josh, Brad, Jennifer, Benjamin, Mollie and Cole Walker; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will follow at 12 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home with Steve Walker officiating. Burial will be at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
