Brittany Amber Mankey, 40, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Friday, December 6, 2024, at her residence. She was born January 2, 1984, in Jonesboro to Michael Bennett and Annette Bass. She was united in marriage to Josh Mankey on August 26, 2000, in Sedgwick. Brittany was employed at Hoxie School District and Dollar General. She was of the Baptist belief. She was an avid New England Patriots and Tom Brady fan. Brittany was a loving wife, sister, daughter, mother, and aunt loved by many.  She also loved to cook, hosting family gatherings, and watching sports.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Lorelai Helen Mankey, brother Colton Bennett, grandparents Homer and Helen Head, Winford Bass, Joan Brooks, and her uncle Keith Bass.

Brittany is survived by her husband, Josh Mankey of Walnut Ridge; son, Jakob Mankey of Walnut Ridge; mother, Annette (Kevin) Hall of Jonesboro; father,  Michael Bennett of Jonesboro; bonus mother, Candice Bennett of Walnut Ridge and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mack and Faye Mankey of Bald Knob; sisters, Cassaundra Bennett of Walnut Ridge and Kelsey Copeland (Brett) of Jonesboro; brother-in-law, Allen Mankey of Walnut Ridge; nieces, Lakyn Crays, Harlyn King, Hadley Copeland, and Palmer Copeland; nephew, Andrew Michael Bennett; and many friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral services immediately following at 12 p.m. Dennis Truxler will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
