Brooks Harold Hall, 94, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at his residence.  He was born December 25, 1928, in Powhatan to the late Edward Morgan and Ruth (King) Hall.  He was united in marriage to Elinor Gertrude Jones on July 20, 1984, in Jonesboro.  Brooks was a quality control manager at General Electric for over 35 years. He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro, where he taught Sunday school for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Gloria Jean Carson Hall; second wife, Elinor Jones Hall; son, Ricky Brooks Hall; and siblings, Paul Hall, Charles Hall, and Glenda Willis.

He is survived by his children, Jeanne Cole, Danny Elrod (Vicki), and David Elrod (Sylvia) all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jordan Roehrenbeck (Ryan), Brandon Hall, Aaron (Tara) Hall, Rashele West (Ryan), Bekkah Elrod, Kelsey Elrod, Annah Elrod, Claire Walker (Avery), Hunter Elrod, and Dillon Elrod; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special friend and caretaker, Jeanetta Jones and many other family members and friends.
