Caitlyn Elizabeth Walker, 33, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Portia. She was born to Tony and Thea Kowalchik Baxter in Pocahontas. On September 30, 2006 she married Brent Walker in Hoxie. She was a UIC birthing clerk at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro and member of The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Hoxie. Caitlyn was a loving wife and mother. She loved making desserts, spending time with her family, and church family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William Kowalchik; paternal grandparents, Jessie and Harriet Baxter.

Survivors include her husband, Brent Walker of the home; a son, Jaiden Walker of the home; a daughter, Ryleigh Walker of the home; her parents, Tony and Thea Baxter of Pocahontas; sisters, Courtney Hall (T.J.) of Lake City and Kacey Baxter of Pocahontas; maternal grandmother, Shirley Jean "Rose" Kowalchik of Pocahontas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Darrell and Vicki Walker of Imboden.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Danny Murphy and Marvin Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Lorado Cemetery near Walcott under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
