Carolyn Sue Cunningham, 68, of Walnut Ridge passed away May 7, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born December 31, 1948 to Earnest (Poss) and Golda Bishop Floyd in Newport. She married Gary Cunningham on March 4, 1972 in Swifton. She attended First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge and was a local bank employee. She was known for her pickles and loved baseball.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Billy Floyd and Jim Floyd; son in law, Greg Collett; and brother in law, Charlie Howard.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; son, Shane Cunningham (Paige) of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Tammy Collett of Dickson, Tennessee, Teresa Shuffield (Steve) of Water Valley, Mississippi; brother, Gene Floyd (Nyoka) of Jonesboro; and sister, Ann Howard of Trussville, Alabama; grandchildren, Kai Cunningham, Tyler Cunningham, Hayden Black, Henley Black, Hollyn Cunningham, Codie Shuffield, Tanner Shuffield, Shay Shuffield, McKenzie Collett, and Josh Collett.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10 am at Cox Funeral Home with Jake Guenrich and Jabo Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Snow Cemetery near Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Steve Howard, Jabo Floyd, Ricky Floyd, Jeremy Cunningham, Matt Hibbs, and Scott Moore.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ray Martin and Joe Videll.
