Carolyn E. Pumphrey, 41 of Jonesboro passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 due to injuries sustained in automobile accident. She was born on May 15, 1977 to Tommy Ray and Ruth Earlene Self Wilson in Newport. On December 17, 2011 she married Cody Pumphrey in Shelbyville, Illinois.  Carolyn was a homemaker and member of Higher Trail Cowboy Church near Paragould. She loved gardening and fishing.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Ruth Self Wilson and a sister, Glenda Davidson.

Survivors include her husband, Cody, of the home; father and step mother, Tommy Ray Wilson (Polly) of Bono; sons, Kyle and James Davidson, both of the home; a daughter, Brittney Townsand and fiancé, Casey Moore of Paragould; brothers, Bobby Wilson of Yellville, Daniel Wilson of Alicia, Bradley Wilson of Corning and Blake Wilson of Jonesboro; a sister, Betty Gail Kirby of Sedgwick; a grandson, Kaydence who was the love of her life; aunts, Wilda Armstrong of Hoxie, Mary Baker of Swifton, Wilma Chastain of Walnut Ridge and Marilyn Green of Hoxie; father and mother-in-law Doug and Sheryl Moore of Moweaqua, Illinois.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 6 until 8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 12 noon in the funeral home with Bro. Ricky Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia.
