Oakland-Christopher Robert Kopp, 42, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Oakland due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident.  He was born August 2, 1976 in Pocahontas to Joseph Robert Kopp and Pamela Joann (Harris) Kopp.  He was a fishing guide and a resort manager at Hudson Bay Resorts.  Chris was of the Baptist belief.

Preceding him in death were his father, Joseph Kopp; paternal grandparents, Danny, Sr. and Bonita Kopp; maternal grandfather, Jerry Harris; and uncle, Jackie Harris.

He is survived by his mother, Pam Kopp of Jonesboro; daughter, Peyton Kopp of Paragould; sister, Jodi Cain (Willis) of Walnut Ridge; nephew, Corey Cain of Walnut Ridge; grandparents, Jim and Gloria Hart of Hoxie; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Funeral will follow at 11:30.  Interment will follow in Old Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Annieville under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Parker, Jeremy Lewis, Billy Jones, and Quinton James, Daniel Prater, and Nick Wilson.
