Clara Mae Johnson, 78, of Sedgwick entered into her heavenly home September 21, 2017. She was born in Lake City on September 10, 1939 to Sam and Pearlie Lakey Manis. She attended church at Sedgwick Baptist Church, and was a retired tech representative at Sigma Aldrich. Mrs. Clara loved spending time with her only grandson, Gage and being with family and friends. She also loved shopping and playing dominoes with the Sedgwick Divas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Clara Belle Manis.

Survivors include her son, Tony Johnson (Debra) of Goobertown; brothers, Charles (Bud) Manis; sisters, Shirley Crum (Tom) and Betty Gallentine, all of Sedgwick; a grandson, Gage and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6 until 8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11 am at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Dennis Truxler officiating. Burial will follow at Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ken Howard, Gregg Smith, Jeff Moskop, Charles Ross, Reggie Thomas, Charley Petterson.

Honorary Pallbearers are her Sunday School Class at Sedgwick Baptist Church and the Sedgwick Divas.
