Dannie Lee Eveland entered his heavenly home on March 10, 2025. He was born February 2, 1947, in Delaplaine to the late Delmer and Ollie (Russell) Eveland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting with friends, farming, and gardening. Dannie married the love of his life, Rhonda White, on October 19, 1991. They shared a wonderful 33 years together.

Dannie was preceded in death by his parents, son Danny Lynn Eveland, sisters Elma Gillian and Nova Haynes, and brothers Bernell Eveland, Leon Eveland, and Jessie Eveland.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years; sister, Delma Eveland; children, Sherry (Monte) Talent, of Texas, Melissia (Jeremy) Forree of Tennessee, Shannon (Hollie) Eveland of Pocahontas, Leigh-Ann (Kris James) Tinsley of Black Oak, Sharna (Bryan) Butts of Walnut Ridge, and Shason (George) Morris of Ravenden; grandchildren, Erin and Morgan James, Ana (Stephen) Elrod, Zackary Talent, Caitlin Eveland, Cobie Watkins, Jake Eveland, Chase Eveland, Zanuel Glasgow, Shantel Butts, and Tia (Matt) Mcafee; great-grandchildren, Florence Mcafee, T.J. Scott, Austin Elrod, Jeremiah Morris, Clayton Morris, Brian Morris, Lily Nihart-Morris, Willow Morris; special friends Richard and Jeri Ann Alls.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 5:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
