Dawn Marie Bawcom, 46, of Monticello, formerly of Charlotte passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at her home. She was born December 4, 1970 in Elk Grove, Illinois to Kenneth James and Donna Marie Yarbrough Franz. She married Dane Bawcom on April 11, 2009 in Charlotte. She was a certified nursing assistant and of the Christian belief.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth James Franz.

She is survived by her husband, Dane Bawcom of the home; her mother, Donna Franz; a son, Chad Harmon of Oxford; a brother, Brian Adkins of Charlotte; a sister, Kendra Fuller (Jason) of Ash Flat.

Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at John 3:16 ministries located at 75 Holmes Road in Charlotte. Funeral will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at John 3:16 Ministries. Brian Adkins, James Ashley and John Britt will officiate. Interment will follow at John 3:16 Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brian Adkins for funeral expenses.
