Delta Idell Hausman, 85, of Pocahontas, passed from this life on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas. She was born on January 17, 1941, in Hamil to the late Delno and Gracie (Billips) Mars. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Hausman on August 8, 1959, in Engelberg. Delta was a homemaker and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Engelberg. She enjoyed gardening and dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Delta was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hausman; sons, James Hausman, Victor Hausman, and Dennis Hausman; her daughter, Janet Hausman Hand; brothers, Earl Mars, Arrie Mars, William Lee Mars; sisters, Mildred Redus, Elsie Hayes, Ester Sparlin, Audrey Faye McKuin, and Dorothy Hausman; and grandson, Dustin Shane Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hausman Jones (Bobby) of Pocahontas; sisters, Ethel Vandergriff of Pocahontas and Mary Ella Hart of Colorado; grandchildren, Bobby S. Jones, Eugene Hand, Darin Casey, Raven Hausman, Jessica French, Dennis Hausman, Alex Hausman, and Josh Hausman; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. in the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Vernon Hausman and Father Stephen Elser will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 P.M. in the Engelberg Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Bobby Shannon Jones, Zac Grant, Dwain Hausman, Jerry Whitnell, John Wren, and Glenn Hausman.

Honorary pallbearers are Johnathan Wren, Vernon Hausman, and Logan Dunkerson.
