Walnut Ridge-Donald Causey, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his residence.  He was born July 24, 1932 in Pollard to Homer and Dora McKinney Causey. On November 5, 2016 he married Margie White in Pollard.  Don was co-owner of Otasco from 1966-1982 and was a carpenter.  He was a deacon at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and fishing partner, Twila of 63 years; step son, Eddie White; and brother, Gaylon Causey.

He is survived by his second wife, Margie White Causey of Piggott and Walnut Ridge; four sons, Michael Causey (Patty) of Jonesboro, Keith Causey (Cheryl) of Yukon, Oklahoma, Dallas Causey (Dianne) of Pottsville, and Wayne Causey of Walnut Ridge; two daughters, Theresa Hooper (James) of Walnut Ridge and Rena Cullum (Billy) of Hoxie;one step-son, Randall D. White (Lisa) of Rosco, Illinois, one step-daughter, Penny Shewmon (Jeff) of Sterling, Illinois. brothers, Bob Causey, Ira Causey, Delmar Causey, Jerry Causey, all of Piggott; sisters, Thelma Johnson of Piggott, Mary Kay Johnson of Festus, Missouri, and Martha Thompson of Rector; grandchildren, Wesley Oglesby (Amber), Mandy Sanchez, Alison Oglesby, Jamie Causey, Drew Causey, Cassandra Benson (David, Jr.), Bradley Causey (Christian), Esther Causey, Michael Cullum, Sarah Cullum, and Trent Beard; seventeen great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.  The funeral will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. John Durham and Blake Jamison will officiate.  Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
