Donna L. Cooper, 81, of Shawnee, KS, Formerly of Hardy, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her residence after a brief battle with cancer. She was born September 16, 1933 in Hardy to Ralph and Vera Goodwin Smith. Donna lived most of her life in the Kansas City, MO area where she raised her children.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Otis Cooper; son, Steven Cooper; and brother, Bill Smith.

Survivors include her son, Bennie Cooper of Shawnee, KS; daughter, Neiha Cooper of Shawnee, KS; brother, Jack Smith of Hardy; sisters, Brenda Jackson of Hardy and Judy Bell of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughters, Mitchele Hunt of St. Joseph, MO and Brandi Ringer of Blue Springs, MO; grandson Joel Cooper of ; great-grandson, Ethan Caw; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 11th, from 5 to 8pm at Tri-County Funeral Home in Hardy. Burial will be Wednesday, November 12th, at 10am in the Perry Cemetery in Hardy under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
