Donna Jean Haynes, 64, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.  She was born to Carl and Elvy Carter Sims on June 19, 1953 in Torrance, California.  She was a homemaker and of the non-denominational belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill Sims and Louy Sims; sisters, Shirley Sims and Jackie Cox; sister-in-law, Beverly Sims; and brother-in-law, Leon Cox.

Survivors include daughters, Paige Blevins (Brent Kee), and Christie Haynes (Jefrey Melton), both of Pocahontas; sister, Judy Walker (Don) of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Carter Blevins, Kelsey Kee, and Jason Melton.

Graveside service will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at Friendship Cemetery near Ravenden, with Dan Avery officiating.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
