She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one infant granddaughter.

She is survived by her children; Jack Edwin Bird (Judy) of California, Victoria Lynn Black of California, Frank Bird (Nellie) of Jonesboro, Dana Eugene Bird (Michelle) of Washington, Robert Michael Bird of California, Carla Lee Malone (Peanut) of Georgia; brothers, John Nichols (Arbie) of Sedgwick; sister, Geneva Karas of Michigan; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Old Military Cemetery near Sedgwick with Tom Lamb officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
