Dorthea Marie Alls, 74, of Pocahontas passed from this life on Friday, May 19, 2023, at her residence.  She was born April 17, 1949, in Paragould to the late Brady and Georgia (Skaggs) Clifton. She was a homemaker during her life, and was of the Pentecostal belief. Dorthea loved her roses, playing with her great-grandchildren, and winning against her husband, David at playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Tommy Clifton, Melvin Clifton, Robert Warner, Lucy Pullum, and Clifford Warner.

She is survived by her husband, David Alls of 58 years of the home; children, Tina Prater of the home, Lisa Murray (Dale) of Delaplaine, Diane Strickland (Scott) of Marmaduke, Michael Alls (Amber) of the home; grandchildren, Jason Snyder, Charlie Prater, Alicia Murray, Brandon Prater, James Prater, Rachel Murray, Dylon Alls, Emily Prater, and Ryne Strickland; several great-grandchildren; a host of other family members; and her special pet, Lucky.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Monday, May 22, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home with Phillip Keeling officiating.  Interment will follow in Sharum Cemetery in the Sharum community under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
