He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Merle Robertson, Julia Holder, Charlotte Boren, an infant brother and an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife, Carolene Holder of the home; daughters, Linda Richardson (Jon) of Edmund, Ok and Jeanne Callahan of Walnut Ridge; sons, Dennis Holder (Judy) of Hoxie, Terry Holder (Teresa) of Imboden, Dewayne Stoddard (Elaine) of Marble Hill, MO, Sam Holder of Portia and Shane Holder (Ashley) of Strawberry; three step children; brothers, Cloyce Holder(Daisy) of Milan, TN Billy Wayne Holder of Walnut Ridge; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, five step grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12 pm until 2 pm at Saffell Missionary Baptist Church in Saffell. Funeral will immediately follow at 2 pm.  Gary Mashburn and Rev. Harold Russell will officiate.  Burial will follow in Kelley Cemetery near Imboden.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
