Eddie Dean Hart, 64, of Pocahontas died January 27, 2014, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born July 5, 1949 in Biggers to Floyd John and Lula Risenhoover Hart. He was an Army veteran, worked at Brown Shoe, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Reyno.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Luther Hart, Buck Hart, Danny Ray Hart; sisters, Sue Cochran, Kay Werlenich, Faye Waymon, Barbara Hampton.

Survivors include his wife, Lucina Fowler Hart of the home; son, Chris Hart (Nikki); daughters, Kandi Calhoun and Tiffany Venson; step-daughter, Michelle Porterfield; sister, Wilma Pyles, all of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Gavin Francis, Kade Francis, Brianna Hart, Londyn Hart; one great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren; and caregiver, Diane Gates.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29th, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ, Hwy 166, in Pocahontas. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 30th, 2:00 pm, at the church, under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery near Maynard.

Pallbearers are Nick Arnold, Nick Johnson, Stacy Tribble, Ian Bickers, Jim Hart, and Roger Stormes. Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Hart and Kurt Light.
