Edith Shirlene Webb, 68, of Ravenden Springs, died September 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 7, 1944 in Walnut Corner to Frankie Ernest and Maggie Alberta Aust Nelson. She was a homemaker and of Pentecostal faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; step-father, William Fry; brothers, Leland, Henry, and Edward Nelson; sisters, Alice Eaton and Imagene Walker; grandchildren, Donald Otis and Little Rosie.

Survivors include her sons, Edward Webb (Nancy) of Pocahontas, Donald Webb (Lisa) of Pocahontas, Tony Webb (Joanie) of Ravenden Springs, Gary Webb (Jenny) of Black Rock, Brian Keith Webb (Amanda) of Pocahontas; daughter, Sheila Jackson of Ravenden Springs; brothers, Earl, Ruben, Bill, and Donnie Nelson, and Freddie and Theodore Fry; sisters, Marie Russom, Jean Tribble, Sharon McDonald, Mary Tate, Sue Nelson, and Shelby Morris; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, September 23, at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Danny Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Manning Cemetery in Hoxie.

Pallbearers are Cody Webb, Tony Webb, Jr., Anthony D. Webb, Paul Jackson, Junior Swartz, and Johnny Swartz. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony L. Webb and Glenn Webb.
