Black Rock - Elberta Earnestine Brewer, 92, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born on January 11, 1924 to William Owen and Eula Weir Winchester in Imboden, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Full Gospel Church in Black Rock.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Jewel Brewer; brother, Weir Winchester; and sisters, Mary Anna Davis and Imogene Powell.

She is survived by a son, Michael Brewer of Paragould, a daughter, Susan Monroe of Walnut Ridge; two sisters, Ruth Smith of Black Rock and Martha Sellers of Warsaw, Indiana; and one brother, Robert Winchester of Pocahontas; a granddaughter, Michelle Brewer and a great granddaughter, Laila Kreis.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Full Gospel Church in Black Rock with Wayne Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Imboden under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
