Estalene Imogene Winfrey, 92, of Walnut Ridge, entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on January 13, 1933, in Hoxie to the late William Alvin and Lilly Virginia (Whitlow) Nicholas. She was united in marriage to Rev. O.D. Winfrey on September 6, 1951, in Hoxie. Estalene was a homemaker during her life. A woman of deep faith, she served alongside her husband as a minister's wife and found joy singing with her family church group.

In addition to her parents, Estalene was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. O.D. Winfrey; her children, David (Carolyn) Winfrey, Danny (Dona) Winfrey, and Don Winfrey; her siblings, Enis Nicholas, Thurman Nicholas, and Ruby McGee.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tammy Winfrey of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Scott (Amy), Pam (Jamie), Chris (Sharleenia), Jennifer (Malvin), Sarah (Brandon), William (Jennifer), and Alexander (Candis); several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services immediately following at 12 p.m. Aaron Winfrey will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvin's Crossing Cemetery near Minturn under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Rick Spargo, Joey Capps, Jeral Dean, Cache McCullough,Kevin Roberts and Nic Winfrey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Zane Winfrey and Draven Winfrey.
