WALNUT RIDGE - Ethel Marie Lawson, 98, formerly of Imboden, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born November 4, 1914 in Pauls Switch to Walter and Cora Mamie Medsker Dunham. She was a homemaker/seamstress and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Imboden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Lawson; sons, Robert High and Bobby J High; daughters, Joanne High and Arlene Sellers; 13 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Christine Franks of Ravenden, Pauline Brown of Puxico, MO; sister, Sally Jane VanWinkle of Imboden; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 – 11:00am at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be immediately following visitation under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Chris Madison officiating. Burial will be private.
