Jonesboro – Floy Jean Barnett, 78 of Jonesboro, formerly of Lawrence County, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.  She was born on February 5, 1938 in Strawberry to Floyd and Gladys Walker Goad.  She was a homemaker and member of the Center Hill Baptist Church in Bono.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Franklin Mahan; daughter, Judy Ann Petero; three brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include:  son, Troy Mahan (Linda) of Proctor; sister, Sarah Alice Freeman (Ken) of Brookland; five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
