Fred Eugene Reithemeyer, 77, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.  He was born July 18, 1944, in Hot Springs to the late Cris and Lucille Roe Reithemeyer. He married Rheamona Healey on January 26, 1963, in Sedgwick. He was a self-employed farmer and loved being an adventurer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rusty Eugene Reithemeyer; and his brother, Jimmy Reithemeyer.

Survivors include his wife, Rheamona Reithemeyer of the home; daughter, Deanna Villarreal (Ray) of McAllen, Texas; brother, Larry Reithemeyer (Debbie) of Walnut Ridge; sister, Ruth Ann Ellis (Danny) of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Jodie and Cody Reithemeyer, and Ray and Ryan Villarreal; and great-granddaughter, McKenna Hurst.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Cody Reithemeyer, Barton Reithemeyer, Brady Reithemeyer, Stuart Reithemeyer, Ray Villarreal, and Phillip Briner.
