Gary Bruce Wright, 62, of Pocahontas, died February 20, 2014 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born July 10, 1951 in Jonesboro to J. L. and Winnie Mae Workman Wright. He was a timber cutter and a member of the Hwy 166 Church of Jesus Christ in Pocahontas.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Nikki Hart (Chris) of Pocahontas; brother, Larry Wright of Oregon; grandchildren, Brianna and Londyn Hart.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the Hwy 166 Church of Jesus Christ in Pocahontas, under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 23rd at 2:00 pm at the church with Gary Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas.

Pallbearers are Bill Starling, Doyle Stockwell, Rick Brown, Donnie Brown, Clayton Brown, and Charles Segraves. Honorary pallbearer is Kurt Light.
