Walnut Ridge-Geneva "Jane" McEntire, 98, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.  She was born October 4, 1920 to Claude and Bulah Grigsby Williams in Strangers Home.  She was a cook at the Walnut Ridge Country Club and a homemaker.  Jane attended the First Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Alfred McEntire; four brothers; two sisters; and grandson, Scott McEntire.

She is survived by daughter, Barbara Bunn of Walnut Ridge; son, Sonny McEntire (Deb) of Walnut Ridge; sisters, Virginia Jones and Imogene Gilbert, both of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Greg Bunn (Linda), Melinda Bunn Richey, Tabatha Bunn, Byron McEntire, Rhonda Fowler (Scott), Tonda Brand, Amanda Betts (Paul Betts, Jr.), Lindsey Romine (Blake), great-grandchildren, Lindsey Moore (Justin), Logan Bunn, John Evan Richey, Dillion McEntire, Ryder McEntire, Whitney Blackburn (Justin), Tyler Fowler (Sarah), Ben Brand, Brighton Brand, Paul Betts III, Parker Betts, Peyton Betts, Bristol Betts, Megan Romine; one great-great granddaughter, Sydney Fowler and granddaughter in-law, Robyn McEntire.

Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2019 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Graveside Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park with Dale Hughart officiating.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
