Mountain Home – Geneva Honey Rorex, 85, passed away Thursday, June 11, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. She was born September 2, 1929 in Grubbs, Arkansas to Horace and Pearl Honey. After retiring from General Electric in Jonesboro in 1990, she and her husband, Jack, moved to Hand Cove area and enjoyed many years of retirement. She was a loving Mother, Granny, and Great. She was a lifetime member of the church of Christ, and loved her family and her church family of Crossroad church of Christ in Gepp. She will be missed and remembered with love. "I am going Home".

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, John F. "Jack" Rorex; brothers Kenneth Honey and J.L. Honey; sister Beatrice Cullum; and grandson David Allen Way.

She is survived by her son Jimmy (Terry) Neely of Batesville; daughter Deborah Neely (Gary) Way of Mountain Home; Sister Patricia (Jim) Seay of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tina (Richard) Lewis of Jackson, Missouri, Mary (Zach) James of Lebanon, Missouri, and Samantha (Andy) Capps of Lynn; her loving grand-daughters-in-law Stacy Way of Lancaster, Kentucky and Abby Uchtman of Flippin; fifteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rorex will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 15 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Frank Plachy officiating, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Markham Cemetery near Egypt. Visitation will be an hour prior to service at Cox Funeral Home.
