Corning – Harold William Sischo, Sr. 65 of Corning passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his home. He was born in Michigan City, Indiana on April 17, 1950 to Harold E. and Estelle Tarwater Sischo. He married Naomi Powers on July 8, 1974. He served in the Army during the Vietnam war, was a member of the American Legion and was a welder. He was Native American and of the Catholic belief.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Estelle Sischo; brother, Steven Foster; sister, Estelle Ladd, and grandson, Quinten Jeremiah Marler.

Survivors include: his wife, Naomi of the home; sons, Steven Farrar of Amboy, Illinois, Jeffery Farrar of Gainesville, Florida, Nick Sischo of Corning, Harold William Sischo, Jr. of Fort Pierce, Florida; daughters, Tammy Haynes of Corning, Nanch Blankenship of Tupelo, Mississippi; brothers, James D. Foster of Missouri, William Elmo Foster of Corning; sisters, Marlene Fudge of Redbud, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral service beginning immediately after visitation. Bill Marriot will officiate. Burial will follow in Sharum Cemetery near Pocahontas.
