Harry Clay Pickney, 71, of Black Rock passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 16, 1945 in Black Rock to Harry Sr. and Gertie Emerton Pickney. He married Lois Davis Morgan on December 28, 2003 at Clover Bend. He was an assembler in the automotive industry and was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church in Black Rock.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Shonell Truman; brothers, Austin Shannon, Eldon Shannon, and infant brother, Harry R Pickney, Jr. ; sisters, Mary Mae Rice, Willene Harmon, and infant sister, Nina Mae Pickney; and a special pet, Lancer.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of the home; son, Mike Pickney of Portia; step son, Tom Morgan of Portia; step daughter, Glenda Smith of Hoxie; brothers, Carl Shannon, James Pickney and Joe Pickney of Black Rock; sisters, Allie Jane Barton and Wanda Lee Ragsdale both of Black Rock, Betty Monehan and Ruby Putt, both of Jonesboro;  grandchildren, Michael Pickney and Cheyenne Glass and five step grandchildren.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tom Morgan, Matt Bagwell, Willis Tyler, John Blaylock, Mike Pickney and Joey Rice.
