Harvey Wayne Austin, 52 passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro after a short battle with cancer. He was born on January 20, 1963 to Jack and Vada Austin. He was a 1981 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School, a deck hand for ADM Riverboat Company, and a member of First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.

Preceding him in death were his father, Jack Austin; his step-father, Dale Davis, and grandson, Cadence Golden.

Survivors include: his mother, Vada Davis; daughter, Nikki Golden of Hot Springs; son, Jackie Austin of Hot Springs; brother, Joe (Stacye) Austin of Conway; step-mother, Linda Phillips of Walnut Ridge; grandson, C.J. Golden and granddaughter, Abbi Austin.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge. The family will receive visitors from 11 am until time of service. Tom Lamb and Jake Guenrich will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
