Hoxie – Henry A. Tucker, Jr., 70, of Hoxie passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at his home. He was born on April 25, 1945 in Clover Bend to Henry and Larkin Oliphant Tucker. He married Roydell Wade on July 17, 1965. He was a member of the Hoxie church of Christ, machinist at Frolic Footwear for many years, an avid fisherman, and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant twins, Kevin and Kerry Tucker; and infant son, Matthew Wade Tucker.

Survivors include: his wife, Roydell Wade Tucker of the home; daughter, Renee Tucker (Jason Price) of Hoxie; grand-daughter Lauren Garner (Brent) of Hoxie; brother, Jerry Tucker (Fran) of Portia; sister, Barbara Wilkinson of Walnut Ridge, and many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 11 from 6-8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 12, at 2:00 pm at Cox Funeral Home with Robert Davis and Bob McMillon officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Sonny Bilbrey, Jason Bullard, Jackie Cude, Russell Dunham, Ron Jones, and Jim Vinson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gene Cook, Jim Smith, and Larry King.
