Smithville – Imogene Davis, 98 passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. She was born on January 20, 1919 in Smithville, Arkansas to Jim and Ida Jean Dailey. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Smithville. Mrs. Davis was a school teacher, homemaker, Avon representative, and seamstress.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jim and Ida Jean Dailey; husband, Grover Davis; sister, Louise Guthrie; brothers, Floyd Dailey, J.W. Dailey, and Jearl Dailey, and son-in-law, Walt Neeley.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Neeley and Ann Burrow (Larry) of Smithville; grandsons, Cass Burrow of Corning, Clent Burrow (Angela) of Smithville, Kyle Neeley (Debra) of Memphis, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Skyler, Luke, David, and Breanna Burrow, and Jayda Neeley; step great grandchildren, Alexis Janaski, Liz O'Tinger, Rob Guthrie, and Stormy and Stone Weiand.

Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at Smithville Methodist Church in Smithville from 10 am-11 am. Funeral will follow at 11 am with Reverend Joe Kaiser officiating. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery near Denton, Arkansas under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kyle Neeley, Clent Burrow, David Burrow, Cass Burrow, Skyler Burrow, and Luke Burrow.
